Are you a reliable and detail-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Wilton Industries is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team in Romeoville, IL. In this role, you’ll be responsible for assisting with daily warehouse operations including picking, packing, and processing customer orders with accuracy and speed.

Ingredients 

• Pick, pack, and process customer orders accurately and efficiently to meet daily fulfillment and productivity goals.
• Learn and perform all pick and pack procedures using RF wrist scanners, consistently scanning multiple in both case pick offline areas and pick modules. 
• Support shipping operations by assisting with sortation, tallying, and preparing orders according to specific customer requirements.
• Operate manual material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and other tools in a safe and efficient manner. 
• Perform value added activities as needed, including box making, relabeling, repackaging, or other line support tasks to meet customer and quality requirements.
• Assist in other warehouse departments as needed to support overall distribution operations and business needs.

Equipment 

• High school diploma preferred
• 1–2 years of warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment experience preferred

Instructions 

• Must have the ability to work with specific instructions and general supervision following standard procedures.
• Good math aptitude and ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Must be able to work at a consistent pace and meet performance standards as measured by company metrics.
• Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Baking Conditions 

• This role requires regular movement throughout the distribution center and the ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, lift, sit, crawl, talk, hear, and communicate effectively while performing job duties for the duration of the shift.
• May be required to work in restricted spaces and/or under difficult lighting and access conditions.
• Work environment with varying and potentially loud noise level and  subject to variable temperatures and weather.
• The employee must be able to regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds, and be able to use appropriate support equipment to lift and move greater amounts.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 
• Employee is required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment as is appropriate to the work to prevent injury to self or others.
